HELVIA’s Code of Ethics sets out the responsibilities and obligations of those who are part of it, providing a common basis for law-abiding and consistent ethical behaviour. It serves as a polar star for everyday actions and decisions, promoting integrity, transparency and compliance with ethical standards.

HELVIA’s Code of Ethics includes ethical principles, rules of conduct, responsibility towards stakeholders, communication and training policies, application process and possible sanctions.

It provides a reference point for making difficult ethical decisions and ensuring a respectful, integral and responsible working environment. Principals or Professionals who fail to comply with HELVIA’s Code of Ethics may, depending on the seriousness of the specific case, incur reprimands, suspensions, disciplinary or legal sanctions, depending on the extent of the breach of the Code of Ethics.
